Uniform Patrol Section

Uniform Patrol consists of four seperate platoons, each headed by a Staff Sergeant as the Officer in Charge and a Sergeant as the second officer in charge and approximately 10 to 11 uniformed officers.

Uniform Patrol officers work a 12-hour compressed work week that provides 24-hour a day coverage of the City. These officers are invariably the first line of response to incidents of noise complaints to homicides and are supported in their efforts by the other listed sections.
