The Service has continued its transition from Sworn personnel to Civilian personnel within the Technical Services Section. One Civilian Supervisor and one Civilian continue to provide valuable forensic assistance at crime scenes and with exhibits seized. The Unit also maintains identification files on all offenders dealt with by the Service.

Technical services assists the North Bay Police Service by conducting specialized examinations of items using state-of-the art video, photography, and fingerprinting.
