ARSON SOLVED

On the 8th of Feb. shortly before 11:30 AM it is alleged that two teenage girls attended Chippewa Secondary School washroom and lit some paper towels on fire. At this time they extinguished it and shortly after they both returned and commenced another similar fire and then left.
The fully engulfed fire was extinguished by the North Bay Fire Department and the several police officers from our Service also attended.
Csts. Brad Reaume and Barry MacIntosh arrested two female suspects shortly after.
A 15 year old and a 17 year old are both charged with Arson Disregard for Human Life and one of them is additionally charged with Breach of Probation.
They are to attend court on the 24th of March.
