Intelligence Unit

The Service continues to operate an Intelligence Unit staffed by one full-time Detective Constable, who has full access to the Ontario Criminal Intelligence Information System. This officer is tasked with analyzing and disseminating relevant intelligence information to other Police Services provincially, nationally and internationally, when required. Operation of such a Unit ensures that the Service remains knowledgeable of criminal activity related to such groups as organized crime, drug traffickers, and outlaw motorcycle gangs.
