New Officer - Daniel Weber

Constable Daniel Weber was born in Edmonton, Alberta and grew up in North Bay.
He graduated with an Honours Diploma from West Ferris Secondary School in North Bay in 2004. While at West Ferris he participated in track, football, soccer and hockey winning several team and individual awards including Male Athlete of the Year in his two final years of high school.
He furthered his education at the University of Guelph and Nipissing University, graduating from Nipissing University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Geography. While at the University of Guelph he played
varsity football and during his one year at Nipissing University he played varsity soccer.
Constable Weber has volunteered as an assistant soccer coach at West Ferris Secondary School for two years and for a season with North Bay Youth Soccer. He has also volunteered to assist Coach Tom Hedican with his Coach4food Program for the past two years and participated in fundraising events to support the Canadian Cancer Society.
In 2004 he received the Mitchell Avery Award, for outstanding contribution to the sport of football for the city of North Bay and the Britt Jessup Award, as North Bay and District Athlete of the Year from the North Bay Sports Awards Committee.
