November 23, 2009
On Saturday November 21st, members of the North Bay Police Service provided an escort for the annual Santa Claus Express Train. The train is an annual Christmas tradition in North Bay. Approximately 200 children are taken by train from The Station to the North Pole, where Santa Claus is picked up and brought back to North Bay. Along the way he meets all of the children and picks up some letters. Pictured here in front of the train with one of the children are the police service members who participated: Cst. Shantz, Cst. Sproule, Cst. Parker, Cst. Corbeil, D/Chief Williams, and Ms. Major.
