Near North Crime Stoppers recently hosted their 5th Annual Fundraising Gala at the Clarion Resort Pinewood Park on October 24, 2009. A number of community leaders, police services board members, police officers, sponsors and supporters of Near North Crime Stoppers were on hand to share in the success of this program. Chief Cook and Deputy Chief Williams are depicted in this photograph with the Executive Director of Near North Crime Stoppers, Ms. Tracy Balen and Crime Stoppers Coordinators Mike Szarka, OPP and Jean Lemieux of our Police Service. Congratulations to everyone who assisted in organizing or otherwise supported this extremely successful community event.
