UNDERCOVERS OPERATION COMPLETED

At the beginning of Jan. the North Bay Police Service commenced an investigation into allegations of a local business involved in prostitution.
During this investigation, officers of our Service utilized the assistance of an out of town female police officer who was hired by “Miss Kitty’s Escort Service”
On the 21st of Jan. the criminal investigation section of our Service arrested a female in relation to this investigation.
The investigation continued and on the 26th of Jan. this same section of our Service arrested another female in relation to this investigation.
Amber DIBARTOLOMEO 23 years old of Stone Rd. in Callander is charged with Communication for Purpose of Prostitution and Possession of Property Obtained by Crime and is to appear court at a later time.
Angela LOXTON 32 years old of Galt St. is charged with Procuring and Living on Avails of Prostitution. She is also to attend court at a later date.

BREAK & ENTER

On the 26th of Jan. between the hours of 8 AM and 1 PM a thief made his way into a unit at the Lincoln Motel on Lakeshore Dr. Entry was gained via a washroom window and a wallet containing ID and cash as well as a cell phone were stolen.

ARSON

On the 26th of Jan. the North Bay Police Service attended at the dead end of Pinecreek Rd. South in Callander in regards to a vehicle that had been set on fire.
At this time the vehicle had had its motor, transmission, tailgate, tail lights, headlights and two rear tires & rims removed. The remainder of the vehicle had been totally burned.
This vehicle had been stolen between the 24th and 26th of Jan. from the North Bay Airport and was registered in Quebec.
